Meiji Techno Microscoper : EMZ-12 Boom Mounted Optics

The EMZ-12 has a unique feature called NVI, near vertical illumination. A fiber optic light guide is inserted into the top of the microscope where a focusing lens is positioned on –axis with the optics. This gives the instrument the ability to inspect down into holes, cracks and crevices or other specimens which have complicated or uneven surface that need illumination from the top.
