Dupont Impact Tester Model : IM-4500 Series

The Dupont Impact Tester sandwiches a painted steel plate,plastics sheet,or other test piece between a spherical punch having a tip with a specified radius and a stand having a concave with the same dimensions as the tip of the punch,drops a weight onto the punch from a specified height,thus making it collide,be observed visually the conditions of the test piece and how much it is destroyed,and evaluates the impact resistance.The equipment comes in 2 types according to the maximum fall level of the weight:50 cm and 1 m, The 1 meter type is used mainly for testing plastics sheets.For the special purpose the 1.5m type will be sheets.
