Dissolved oxygen test kit hanna hi3810
The Hanna dissolved oxygen test kit can quickly and easily determine the oxygen concentration in the water.
The chemical test kit allows up to 110 tests of dissolved oxygen from 0.0 to 10.0 mg / L with a resolution of 0.1 mg / L.
Manganese ions react with oxygen in the presence of potassium hydroxide to precipitate manganese oxide. Contains azides to prevent nitrite ions from interfering with the test. In addition to acid, manganese oxide hydroxide oxidizes iodide to iodine. Since the generated iodine content is equivalent to the oxygen in the sample, the iodine concentration is calculated by titration of the iodine-reducing thiosulfate ion back to the iodide ion.
